In a world where few can agree and Republicans and Democrats are locked in epic battles, it’s nice to see archery once again getting a much needed shot in the arm by Hollywood. The The Hunger Games looks to be set to do more for archery than any movie since the The Lord of the Rings. But Hunger Games are nothing new to the outdoor community. Since time immemorial, hunters have been fighting the Hunger Game in an effort to bring food to their lodges and provide for loved ones. No matter the source, I’ll take it and if it gets kids involved in the outdoors and actively engaging in the shooting sports, sign me up — I’ll buy a ticket to support that any day!

The site is set up with a section for press releases — ad speak straight from the manufacturer. Once a release gets 25 followers requesting a review, I’ll order and test the products. If the manufacturer is agreeable (and the law allows) will then give the gizmo away to one lucky winner for a Pro vs. Joe match up of reviews.

If you are interested in having your press release posted please send it to Likewise, if you see something that needs our attention and we haven’t noticed it yet, drop us a note and help make the best outdoor gear review site on the web!
